My Semi-Professional Bio

Most recently I was a Internet consultant and before that the Web production manager for RMI.NET Solutions a Denver commerce solutions provider.

In 1997 I worked as a project manager and consultant for Digital Creators, an online training, web development, and EPSS subsidiary of TeleTech Holdings, a large international customer care outsourcer. I was project manager for one of the largest Intranets in North America; an online training and reference site for a major telecommunications company's call center. I was also the executive consultant and project manager for a large multimillion-dollar training and online reference project for a major insurance company. This project required a lot of travel - go get those airmiles!

In 1995 I worked for Jones Intercable within the Internet Channel as a senior web developer on sites such as the Jones Multimedia Encyclopedia, Cyber Schools and the Great American Country Website and for Jones Cyber Solutions as an Internet consultant to StorageTek, and as Jones Cyber Solutions’ corporate webmaster.

In 1994 I developed some of the first departmental websites for the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and participated in some of the earliest international online distance education projects. This was the coolest thing, the course material was in Germany, we logged into BioMoo in Israel and my teacher was in Mexico City.

I am a native of Scotland and I have over 15 years of online communications experience originating from the academic VAX VMS system in the UK (JANET). In the mid 80's as a graduate student I would Telnet to the University of Wisconsin and use the genetics package to analyse my data.

I came to the States in 1989 for three years to get my BTA degree (Been To America). Over 10 years later I am a resident alien and call Denver my home.
