PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Prior to joining Thomson NETg in 2004, Mandy was a project manager at Sun Microsystems were she worked on support readiness training for internal and partner technical support personnel.

Before BVP Media closed in 2003, Mandy was a producer and responsible for project managing a wide range of multimedia projects, including CD ROM and print material.

In 2000 Mandy became the manager of Web Solutions for RMI.NET Solutions where she managed the Website Production, Maintenance and Website Tech Support teams and took over Web Director responsibilities.

Before RMI, Mandy managed a group of 40 programmers and instructional designers for Digital Creators, an online training and Web development company that was acquired by TeleTech Holdings. She was project manager for one of the largest intranets in North America and the executive consultant and project manager for a large multimillion-dollar training and online reference project for a large Insurance company.

In 1995 Mandy worked for Jones Internet Channel as a senior Web developer and for Jones Cyber Solutions as an Internet Consultant and corporate Webmaster.

In 1994 Mandy developed some of the first departmental Websites for the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and participated in one of the earliest international online distance education projects.

A native of Scotland, Mandy has almost 20 years of online communications experience originating from the academic VAX VMS system in the UK (JANET). She has a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland; and received a Doctorate degree from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland in 1989. More recently she obtained the PMP certification from PMI.
